Tree day 2021
In 2021, in the S. Romanazzi park of the city of Putignano, PDT Cosmetici donated and planted 23 trees, each for each child/daughter of its employees. Initiative that requalifies and gives green spaces, raising awareness for the territory.

Christmas Charity 2023
Award-winning project at Cosmoprof Bologna 2024: A kind gesture for the environment, a cuddle for you. We re-labelled defective packaging with a Christmas label and attended a charity market, unsold products were donated. Christmas 2023.

laboratories
Driven by our love for nature that we truly respect, we are increasingly committed to sustainability in cosmetic production.
Our environmental commitment is based on the formulation of cosmetics made with naturally-derived active ingredients through meticulous research supporting biodiversity as well as new upcycling and circular economy methods to support local areas, communities and small virtuous farms.
In our laboratories, we pay particular attention to the reduction of water waste – we only use rainwater collected in a dedicated tank for cooling our turbo-emulsifiers.
In the workplace, we use drinking water dispensers to reduce plastic waste and cardboard balers to reuse packing material. Thanks to solar panels, we use clean and renewable energy for our manufacturing process.
In our
local area
Nature is our main source of inspiration. Therefore, we love to be surrounded by green spaces in the places where we live.
We are happy to have contributed to the redevelopment of public green spaces in Putignano where our company is based. We have planted holm oak trees in a town park – one tree for each child born in our team – and we have taken care of the green maintenance of a traffic island near our company.
In order to protect nature and our territory, PDT Cosmetici has chosen to support a project to revive olive trees in the Salento countryside, devastated by Xylella.
Therefore, we have joined OlivaMi, an initiative that aims to bring life back to the Apulian countryside, where olive trees are deeply rooted in the history and soul of our region.
Our company olive grove: a dream that grows
In the summer of 2024, we created our company olive grove. With the planting of 20 olive trees, we began a journey that is intertwined with our vision of sustainability and authentic beauty.
But this is just the beginning. By the end of the year, our olive grove will expand with the planting of new olive trees, symbols of rebirth and hope.

the world
We planted a cassava forest in Congo in December 2019, in collaboration with the Milioni di Promesse association.
This project supported the development of about 5 hectares of cassava plantation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and will support the life and economy of the local population as well as the activities of the APMQ, Asbl association (ASSOCIATION POUR LA PROMOTION DE MINORITE QUALITATIVE).

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in collaboration with the Milioni di Promesse association, a small dream has come true in a prolific way: we have created an atelier run by women for their economic and social independence. Day by day, little steps help those regions facing major difficulties, such as Congo.
